If You Are in Immediate Danger or Experiencing a Mental Health Crisis
At Ease Talk Therapy, we are committed to supporting your mental health and emotional well-being. However, our counselling services are not an emergency or crisis intervention service and should not be used when immediate assistance is required.
If you believe that you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call your local emergency services immediately or go to the nearest hospital or emergency department.
When to Seek Immediate Emergency Help
Please seek urgent assistance if you or someone you know is:
- Having thoughts of suicide or self-harm.
- At immediate risk of harming another person.
- Experiencing a severe mental health crisis.
- Experiencing a medical emergency.
- Feeling unsafe due to abuse, violence, or neglect.
- Unable to remain safe until a counselling appointment can be arranged.
If You Need Urgent Support
If you require immediate emotional support:
- Contact your local emergency services.
- Visit your nearest hospital or emergency department.
- Contact a trusted family member, friend, or support person.
- Reach out to a local mental health crisis service available in your country.
If you are outside Kenya, please use the emergency services or crisis support resources available in your country of residence.
Existing Clients
If you are an existing Ease Talk Therapy client experiencing an urgent concern that is not life-threatening, please contact us during our business hours and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Please note that we cannot guarantee immediate responses to emails, website enquiries, WhatsApp messages, or online booking requests.
Our Service Availability
Ease Talk Therapy provides scheduled counselling sessions by appointment.
Our services do not include:
- 24-hour crisis counselling
- Emergency psychiatric services
- Emergency medical care
- Immediate crisis intervention
